Terms And Conditions

THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE.

ELIGIBILITY: Must be enrolled in a private or public school (grades K-12) in the United States. Winners may be asked to produce proof of school enrollment. Employees of IAE are ineligible to participate in these contests.

CONTEST PERIOD: Different contests with variable submission dates will be held throughout the year. See specific contest terms for details.

HOW TO ENTER: Electronic or non-electronic submissions as may apply specifically to each section of the contest. IAE accepts no responsibility for submissions lost, delayed and damaged. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of entry.

JUDGING: Each entry will be judged based on interpretation of the theme, artistic skill, creativity and originality. Decisions of the judges are final and binding. In case there are not enough eligible entries, not all prizes will be awarded.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Only one entry per student.
• Must be an original work.
• The submissions must be accompanied by the entry form.
• Save your original work as winners will/may be asked to mail their original work at their own expense. The winners can have their artwork back if they desire so by sending their artwork using packaging that can be reused for this purpose along with prepaid return shipping label.
• As a condition of entry, entrant grants IAE irrevocable permission to use, reproduce, publish, disseminate and publicly display the submission for the purpose of advancing the IAE, its goals and its contests without any provenance or compensation to entrant.
• Submissions must not be derogatory, offensive, threatening, defamatory and slanderous or contain any content that is inappropriate, indecent, or discriminatory in any way. It should not promote hatred against any group or person. There should be no submission of any material contrary to all applicable federal, state, or local laws. No third-party advertising, slogan, logo or trademark should be used.
• If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, IAE reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the contest.

DISQUALIFICATIONS: IAE reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not meet these requirements.

SPONSOR: The contests are sponsored by donations to IAE.

PRIVACY: Entrants agree and acknowledge that personal data submitted may be collected, stored, advertised and otherwise used for the purposes of conducting and administering the contests by IAE.

LEGAL: The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

BINDING AGREEMENT: You must agree to the rules in order to compete and win the prizes. These rules form a binding legal agreement between you and IAE with respect to the contest. As a condition of entry, entrant indemnifies IAE to the maximum extent permitted by law, at all times from and against any liability, claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses resulting from participating in the contest.
